In the line of co-op shooters against hordes, what sets Aftermath apart is scale: whole swarms of dead climbing and toppling over, plus a brutal melee system and new settings, Rome, the Vatican, Kamchatka. Enough to explain a fairly solid immediate appeal.

So, who is it for? For you if you like four player frenzy, soaking up massive waves and clearing the tide with heavy weapons. Much less so if you play solo chasing emotion or story, the profile is too thin to guarantee that.
