Barnsworth, a Northern English town where everything is slightly wrong and every local has an absurd odd job waiting for you.

The gut ranking is brutal: when people are simply asked which one they prefer, Thank Goodness You re Here sits ahead of just 4% of games. And the desert island line is worse still, flat at the bottom, literally last on that criterion. Yet look at art direction: ahead of 77% of titles. The hand drawn cartoon look, the gleeful caricature, that lands. Attachment climbs back to around average too, on very few votes, so take it as an early signal. That is the tension: a game whose style and character stick, but that nobody picks and nobody wants to carry with them. Fun, rediscovery and soundtrack all stay low.

It makes sense. This is a short comedy, a gag machine, a farce you walk through in a few hours. Next to platformers and adventures built on scale and length, it is simply not playing the same sport. It goes for the laugh, not the epic.

So, who is it for? For you if you love blunt British humour, hand drawn worlds and short experiences you finish in one sitting. Much less so if you want something to take everywhere, or an adventure that lasts.
