RemakeAnalysis generated from community votes
Three days, a falling moon, and a dread unlike anything else in the series.
When the community picks on pure gut feeling, this remake lands right in the middle, neither instant love nor rejection. But that is on few votes, so take it gently. Look at the criteria instead, and the picture sharpens. The early votes put it ahead of 92% of games for the desert island, and just as high for the urge to rediscover it, as if you wished you could wipe your memory and live those three days again. Connection follows, very high too. The feel in hand, though, sits in the lower-middle, and so does the art style, on very few duels so still to confirm. The tension is right there: a game you cherish and hold onto, but whose raw playing pleasure does not win everyone over.
Against the other Zelda adventures, this is the one of mood and melancholy more than comfort of play. It leaves a mark through what it lingers, not through how smooth it feels.
So, who is it for? For you if you want an adventure that haunts you, that you keep for years and dream of living fresh again. Much less so if you want a modern, flawless grip first.
