The art style goes off, ahead of 93% of titles, on few votes so take it as an early signal, but the message is clear. Controller feel follows, ahead of 79% of games. Rediscovery and the soundtrack both land above the average. Fun too. Only the desert island stays low, ahead of 19% of titles. There is the real tension: a game people find remarkable the moment they look at the detail, but do not take away with them, and do not pick on impulse.

This 3DS version revisits a short, dense, tightly paced adventure. That is its strength and its limit. Against adventure games built for dozens of hours, a mansion you clear quickly marks the eye and the hands more than the calendar.

So, who is it for? For you if you like cartoon worlds with real character, room-by-room exploration and controls that answer instantly. Much less so if you want a long-haul companion, the one that stays with you for months.
