A lone hero, robots, and the grain of a 90s console game you dreamed about without ever playing it.

When the community picks on gut feeling, Gravity Circuit only edges past a quarter of the games. Look closer and the picture cracks. The art style lands ahead of more than three quarters of all titles, and attachment climbs above average. But the feel with a controller in hand stays below the middle, and above all it sits right at the bottom when people are asked which game they would take to a desert island, ahead of barely 3% of games. Instant fun and the wish to rediscover it fresh follow the same slope. Careful though, these lines rest on few votes, they need confirming. Still, the tension is there: you like watching it, you grow fond of it, you do not take it with you.

In the 2D action platformer landscape, that is the fate of many very good students. A flawless tribute to the classics of the genre, forced to exist next to the monuments that inspired it, and those keep the aura.

So, who is it for? For you if you love nervy platformers, expressive pixel art and robot worlds with careful design. Much less if you are after the one game that would follow you anywhere, the one you wish you could forget just to live it again.
