The soundtrack holds up well, ahead of more than eight games out of ten, and both art style and controller feel stay decent. But fun finishes at the very bottom of the ranking, and it is still not a flaw: this VR sequel is made to terrify you, not to amuse you in the light sense. Locked in the headset facing Freddy's creatures, you are not after pleasure, you are after dread.

Next to other horror games, it pushes the immersion of the Help Wanted formula further, with new and ever more harrowing mini-games.

So, who is it for? For you if you like fear, VR immersion, and well placed jump scares. Much less if terror does not amuse you or if you want truly relaxed gameplay.
