Zaun scrolls by, Ekko rewinds time, and yet nothing quite catches.

On gut instinct, no criterion, Convergence ranks ahead of 37% of games. Already shy. And the details do not right the ship. Desert island, ahead of only 4% of titles. Fun, 3%. Controller feel, 8%. Art style, 10%. Soundtrack, 15%. Few votes so far, so stay careful, but the way every line points down is hard to ignore. One exception, and it is telling: attachment climbs back to average, ahead of roughly half of all games. That is the tension here. You get attached to Ekko, not to the game carrying him.

In the action platformer landscape, the comparison stings. The genre was built on feel, timing, snappiness, and that is precisely where the community puts Convergence at the bottom. The time rewind mechanic is not enough to build the signature it lacks.

So, who is it for? For you if you love Zaun, if the character matters more than the mechanics and you want to extend lore you already know. Much less so if you expect a platformer to hold you by the hands and the eyes.
