On gut feeling, no criterion, Batman: Arkham Knight sits ahead of 88% of games, though on few duels, so treat it as provisional. What really jumps out is one line: controller feel, ahead of 99% of titles. Nearly the top. The rest of the profile is calmer. Attachment and desert island hover just above the middle. The soundtrack lands ahead of 81% of games, the urge to rediscover it ahead of 87%. The portrait is clear: people love holding it more than they bond with it. It is a game of gesture before it is a game of the heart, at least for now, since several criteria rest on very few votes.

In the open world superhero space, Rocksteady set the standard for rhythmic combat and exhilarating movement. Few games in the genre made traversal as satisfying as the fighting, and it shows here. That gameplay line does not come out of nowhere.

So, who is it for? For you if you want a combat system that answers to the millimetre and a city built like a playground. Much less so if what you want above all is a story that sticks to you for years.
